Great Lakes Home Remodeling is honored to invite you to the 2025 Komen Northwest Ohio Race for the Cure, taking place in downtown Toledo. As an official sponsor, we are proud to stand alongside our community in support of breast cancer survivors, those currently in the fight, and the families who walk beside them.

Event Details & Schedule

The 2025 Komen Northwest Ohio Race for the Cure in Toledo, Ohio will take place this Sunday, September 28th 2025

• 7:00 a.m. – Event opens, including Hope Village, Kids Zone & VIP area
• 8:00 a.m. – Hope Village Celebration honoring survivors and those living with Metastatic Breast Cancer
• 8:15 a.m. – Survivor Parade begins at Hope Village
• 9:00 a.m. – Opening Ceremony & Pathway of Hope Parade
• 9:30 a.m. – Race begins (5K and 1-mile routes)

Strollers and dogs (on leashes) are welcome, making this an event for the entire family. Free parking is available at various downtown locations.

Where to Find Great Lakes Home Remodeling

Be sure to stop by the Great Lakes Home Remodeling sponsor booth at Hensville Park. Our team will be there to cheer participants on and share resources about how we support our local communities.

Race Routes & Map

The race starts at the intersection of Monroe and Summit and finishes at Washington and St. Clair. Two routes are available:

• 5K Run/Walk (approximately 3 miles)
• 1-Mile Walk

Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women and 1 in 1,000 men during their lifetime. In 2025, over 316,000 women in the U.S. are expected to be diagnosed. Events like the Race for the Cure fuel critical fundraising for research, community health programs, and advocacy efforts.
